You shouldn't use Psygnosis game screens, or it will be mistaken for a DVD that is solely about Psygnosis.

Any reason why the tick on the side of the box is crippled? that doesn't look very good.

Anotehr one. With te haddition of that tick you added an important element to teh composition. It's fighting with the text for priority. I think this makes the CD cover look emptier now than before, because of this "struggle"! Maybe it is just me.

this is awesome! will you be ripping the video direct from your amiga? staying true to the amiga chipset of all motherships

even a DVD containing the best scene demo's would make the perfect memorbalia suite :hoo

I agree with you Akira. Its demanding too much attention away from the writing. Just that Im running out of puff with the whole thing. Ach, developing in public is embrassing...

Ill try toying with different (less demanding) colours or fading it around. Perhaps Ill try to reduce its size also. Then again, I could just bin it entirely as personally Im satisfied with it just being the DVD disc and the writing.

And yes Cody youre also right, I had best avoid any Psyg pictures on the back too as its all the Amiga not just them.

Like I said.. wait until you see the finished item on a standalone DVD player before passing judgement!

If you think the effort was wasted, fair enuff, but I think you might be pleasantly surprised

Even though my Amiga isn't as sharp through my TV card, it still seems to look.... better... for some reason.

Heh, if we can't get any Demos to work properly through WinUAE, I could always just record them through my TV card (native res is 768x5XX, not 320x240).

Damn, if I only could get Nexus 7/Andromeda, Roots 2.0/Sanity or How 2 skin a cat/Melon to work in WinUAE (0824)! Played around with the configuration, but still they do not work 100% (Nexus 7 does not work at all, stops after the intro).

The reason being that Nothing Beats the Real Thing!

I swear that if I could connect an Amiga through component to an AJA this shit would look AWESOME. I'm working on it.

have you got a main theme sorted yet? i might be able to ask someone to do a professional theme tune for the dvd? and it would be made by a fairly famous old skool amiga musican!!!

it might also be a remake of a famous tune used in a demo, but done with modern music technology.

No main music is done yet, and naturally I'd want diff music for each DVD..

The game DVD music I thought might be a medly of some of the best game music

Anyway ask your contact to go ahead, if its good enough I'll use it

well, the music should be good enough... it's by Jesper Kyd... if anyone doesn't know who he is, have a quick butchers at the interview on my site (features page)...

can we have a quick vote on the best Jesper Kyd track to use, then i'll ask him if we can use it! unless he of course is really helpful and creates some original tune (or a mix of his previous works)
