AMOS manuals
For anybody who maybe interested.
I am currently re-working some AMOS manuals found on Josh's website and converting some of my own. Basically to improve page layout, add bookmarks and create Links from the contents and the index to their target content. Then to release them as odt, pdf and HTML on the ultimateamiga AMOS Factory site. Please note I have already received written permission to do this from the original developer of AMOS, François Lionet of http://www.Clickteam.com. The thread link is here AMOS Manuals Manuals: AMOS The Creator (odt, pdf versions Released) AMOS Compiler (odt, pdf versions Released) AMOS 3D (odt, pdf versions Released) AMOS Professional Compiler (odt, pdf versions Released) AMOS Professional Application Supplement (odt, pdf versions Released) AMOS Club Newsletters 10 Issues >>>> Newsletters Vol1 (pdf versions Released) >>>> Newsletters Vol2 wip asymetrix has already completed the AMOS pro, TOME and AMCAF manuals. Easy AMOS was Compiled in PDF format by echo of the English Amiga Board (2009) These manuals are also available on the above site. Last edited by MadAngus; 23 February 2012 at 09:30. |

Josh,
If you can acquire written permission for re-distribution of any off the manuals, I am willing to re-typeset any that need it. It would be a side project so I could keep my hand in at typesetting and learn more about it. Scrubbed, taken on other projects. Last edited by MadAngus; 16 January 2012 at 21:33. |

Mirroring
Hi, Josh,
I know it's already been mentioned but that was several months ago... is it okay to mirror your site publicly? I have some server space and can throttle the downloads or break them up over several days if needed. The site isn't completely ready yet so I don't have an address just yet but I'll post it as soon as I have it ready. Thanks, Brian. |

I have a mirror I update every so often @ ftp://aero.exotica.org.uk/pub/mirrors/amiga_manuals/ - it's not perfect as my "script" wont pick up deletions but it mostly works. Would be nice if there was the ability to mirror the files perfectly (rsync etc). If Josh is happy, I can provide my mirror script or you could rsync from me.
