thanks
@a_crow,
Don't worry I'll never go above £37.99 a year. But yes while I still think the idea has some good points apparently their actual implementation need a lot of retooling!! I'm basing this on thecurrent status of the kickstarter and the way they handled AmigaBill. @AmigaBill, My deepest condolences to you and your family!! And thank you! I'm glad you like it. Honestly I appreciate everyone’s feedback. Be it good bad or indifferent. I'm just happy someone dropped by! Again I know it looks quite dated and needs a lot of work but trust me I have plans for v2.0 I like to think all that really matters is the links, lots of them, all sorted and searchable... (Trust me I'm working on those last two points ) Scott P |

@AmigaSource Looks a bit dated, but the content is spot on Thank you for the sharing it (I'll have a proper look this afternoon and maybe post something more about it)
@AmigaBill Also from me sincere condolences for your loss. |

DJP posted a link to AGA this morning on a FB group called Amiga Day.
Bill seems to not be on the Kickstarter page anymore, so this shows that DJP is listening out, but ultimately deciding to continue. Me and Stephen have posted our feelings, basically that he isn’t *appearing* to value the community’s opinion, and that the longer this goes on, the more dissent will arise. |

Thanks so much for the condolences everyone. It is really difficult seeing a loved one suffer so much. But I am very thankful to have had a supper supportive father for 47 years who bought me my Amiga, used to drive me to WAUG meetings when I was too young to drive, and so much more. Many people are not this lucky, so I just have tremendous gratitude

Lol..
he really posted link to his kickstart at Amiga Day group, few hours a go, and meanwhile, it seems that more and more backers are withdrawing from kickstart ($2710 right now (it was over $3k, 2-3 days a go). |

Imagine if he register here, and open that 1 thread of his Kickstarter promotion.
That would be gold. |

Well, in a way, you could say that David Pleasance has achieved what he set out to do; to unite the Amiga Community. I'd say we're all pretty united against his AGA concept.
The guy's a genius, and we didn't even have to pay him for it. |

On the other side.. who is Christopher James?
Someone around here? I see him on Facebook on many pages threating David and talking in really bad manner, so I just wrote him this: Quote:
Christ.. we can all get angry or funny at some person.. but hate him so much? That is not healthy. Christopher!!! Reveal yourself! |

It sucks when people get personal The idea wasn't well thought out and he really should have joined some groups and talked to people before launching the kickstarter, but that personal attacks are just stupid.

There's no reason whatsoever to get personal, that's absolutely awful.

Lol, so I had a little chat with mr Christopher James.
He mentioned me that my English is bad (that I fully agree), and when I mentioned him I am a Serbian, his answer was: Quote:
So, it appear I am guilty of being Serbian... lol.. I will happily accept that guilt! |
