LOL I've been told I look like Animal from the Muppets before.
BAST!RDS. Then one of the viewers said I look like a bad version of Simon Pegg. |

If you have a PC with a parallel port then there is a $5 parallel cable clone that on eBay that i think can be used to flash the xilinx chips with impact.
I have one, I'll dig it out and work out the pinout. There are also schematics for the parallel cable on the net. But the official USB clone is much nicer. |

hahaa, it just makes me chuckle to myself everytime he goes live for a second. Kudos to him though, it must be such a drag people moaning at him. I think it's great work considering the cost of an SX1/SX32... We can't really moan can we, just support the guy. I'm going to donate some money when I get paid Steve... I do appreciate it and I do hope that didn't offend. |

@solidcore
I've done a few more tweaks on our wiki install instructions... just to be slightly more detailed. It's looking really good now, your re-arrangement and input is awesome, it looks a lot more legible, easier to follow and lovely to read!! ![]() |

I was talking to Edu about making something like this to finalise the whole project...
either in a solid plastic or seethrough... took me a while to get the idea over to him, but made something quick in Photoshop. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The riser still has the CD32 center mount hole (for the original cover), so it could be mounted with the original philips thread. |

dont forget you will need to find a new screw (and a spacer to hold it straight) as the original screw is too short

@Akira
Good idea, but you won't have the support and the edge connector could still move/flap around, could you not pilot a hole or are traces running through that area? @Kipper2k I can use my FWSI one with the plastic shealth... if it turns out to be the same depth anyhow. |
