I never got further than floor 2 in the arcades, and never saw someone complete it, luckily there are now longplays on YouTube to check that out!
Still fascinating to witness what can be extracted from old machines today, imagine this released as some Amiga pack in the late 80s, would have sold like hotcakes

I think it's one of these games where the first level is quite doable, but after that it gets hairy quite fast.

The difficulty in coding him is reflected in the difficulty to KICK HIS GODDAM ASS! Not made it to him since been a hard week of Devil's Temple ass kicking.

I been playing on Easy mode with 3 lives. Then just picking up some extra lives on the way. Perhaps I should give myself some more lives?????

I sorta did try that, get him on one side, then get him on the other. I'll have to make that far again though. I keep dying with those f-ing dragons breathing fire and the spinning midgets!!!

I tested Devil's temple on Amiga 500+ and it works perfectly, the only glitch I encountered while playing was the dynamite throwing enemy once appeared with corrupted graphics. For the rest it works great. Instead, testing it on Amiga 1200 (040+16mega fast) the Ktrlcd32+ pad doesn't work correctly: the punch button doesn't work at all.

Have not posted on here for a looooong while, but I just (right now!) snagged a boxed copy of Devil's Temple and I'm so excited!
Thought I'd missed out when they were all sold out before Xmas.


Also, Kung Fu Master is one of my all time favourite arcade games...

Game works well (wriggling with a joypad is pretty hard though, game is more designed for joysticks), but whdload slave has a problem: it looks for "test.exe".
