The first time after starting WinUAE selecting text (in YAM or in a console window like shell), pressing Amiga-C and then Amiga-V paste the content of the Windows Clipboard instead of the formerly selected text.
I can't duplicate (opened shell, marked one word, Amiga-C and then Amiga-V pasted line copied from shell, not old Windows clipboard data)

I have also experienced a slowdown with the current version and I haven't changed the sound settings at all from the default DS.
I can say for sure that this slowdown only happens with a A1200 configuration, not with plain 68000 configurations.
R-Type and Space Harrier (WHDLoad installs) both suffer from frame rate drop but only if WinUAE is configured as A1200. It doesn't happen with a A500 configuration.
In both configurations the CPU Emulations Speed is set to Fastest possible but maintain chipset timing. In the A1200 configuration when I set the CPU Emulation Speed to Adjustable between CPU and chipset (with the slider towards the CPU side) then the frame rate goes back to normal.

I have also tested James Pond Robocod AGA both the floppy and the WHDLoad versions with the same A1200 configuration. The floppy version doesn't suffer from frame rate drop no matter what CPU Emulation Speed settings are used, while the WHDLoad version suffers from frame rate drop when the CPU Emulation Speed is set to Fast possible but...etc.

Do you had ascii text in the Windows clipboard while your test?
The bug happens only the first time after starting WinUAE.
I can reproduce this bug with beta 12 and beta 13. The other betas I haven't tested.
I'm using Windows XP Prof. with ServicePack 3.

Do you still have the log- und dump-files I send to you?

The log file says, the first clipboard action was copying from Windows to Amiga. But I'm sure I marked the IP address with the mouse and pressed right Amiga-C. And there is no clipboard_p2a.xxx.dat file dated 17:58.
The file clipboard_p2a.000.dat is dated 21.02.2009 17:56. At 17:56 the emulator was started.

I could try only the last beta. But I suspect something related to priorities. I too had a few slow downs but when I press F12 and then click Ok the speed returns to normal.

I thought that this was the first beta that I saw this slowdown, but after you asking I tested R-Type and saw that it first appears on b9.

Perhaps "interlace artifact removal" is enabled?

Does it only happen in full screen modes? (set both native and rtg to windowed)

No, none of those options are checked. Switching from full screen to windowed mode also makes no difference.

In windowed mode (1920x1200) I get an empty, grey Workbench without mouse pointer. Alt-Tab doesn't seems to work. I got a black window. If I press Ctrl-Alt-Del to open the Task-Manager, then the Workbench Icons will be loaded and I get two pointers, until I click in the window.

But the clipboard was working correct, then.

I changed and saved the screenmode from "UAE: 1920x1200 32bit BGRA" to "UAE: 800x600 32bit BGRA".

With the resolution of 800x600 windowed mode boots OK and clipboard is working OK.

In fullscreen mode with 800x600 the clipboard is working OK, too.

But in fullscreen mode with 1920x1200 the clipboard is working wrong the first use after starting WinUAE.

The "Save State" dialog window in Beta 13 seems to be the same as the "Load State" window e.g. with an "Open" button.

I'm running Vista SP1 and get this too.

Guess this works fine on Win7, but messes up on Vista then Sometimes Microsoft libs suck more than usual
