No music on A1200 as it seems. I guess depends on the new keyboard code i added..

Ok, just tried on "ECS Agnus / KS 1.3 / 512Kb Chip & 512Kb Slow RAM" and there was indeed sound

What config would you prefer I test in?

So far I've been setting "AGA / KS 3.1 / 2MB Chip & 4MB Fast RAM".

I don't get sound on my A500+ either.
What I did find, though, is that sound works after I played some music in ProTracker first (edit: doesn't work all the time).

To be more precise: no sound and 'pause' on AGA Amigas, OCS & ECS are fine.
Very nice glowing effect during pause, btw!

0.943: sound works again on AGA Amgas. Excellent!

About the last enemy getting angry: This is a great feature, thanks for implementing this. I think there's a bug, though: If a player respawns, the last & angry enemy stops being angry (unlike the arcade version).

About the crashes when running from Workbench: I think I found a pattern.

If WB is set to an RTG screen, the machine crashes when running the game. BUT if I set it to a native screenmode first, like PAL Highres Interlace, running the games works just fine. I could reproduce this on a real Amiga as well as in WinUAE.

Could anybody please confirm this behaviour?

I used to love them getting trapped in the Spectrum version, love little quirks like that, well thats what i thought at the time, bugs? what were they?

It sure is a lot better! Sound is reinstated for AGA Amigas and the new pause feature is great to allow progression. I got to level 34 today with my son player 2 with no issues or glitches. Great work and a ray of sunshine on a cloudy and wet weekend!

And one more: After pausing on real hardware (A1200/030, run by disk) I couldn't resume the game anymore. Doesn't happen in WinUAE with default A1200 config.

I've been playing from a real floppy just like the old days! I guess that means that I just get the default screenmode and avoid such bugs.

Ok, some feedback on the latest version on A1200 config on FS-UAE.

1) I don't remember the last remaining baddy getting angry in the arcade. :S
2) Each stage had 2 boni after a while, one for points and a power up. These seem to be mostly missing.
3) I saw some times the angry enemy flickering back to normal and then being angry again.
4) The long range shot does not reach the end of the screen, although it is a very satisfying thing to have. Maybe it could be a tiny bobble unique power up, maybe after 2 such sweets (one for mid range, one for full screen range).
5) Is the trick where you try to make the last 2 digits (except the 0 in the end) match implemented? That was necessary for us to show off, especially in the first few stages! :P

I haven't tried this conversion yet so I can't comment on how good it is, though I'm sure it's fantastic given the praise it's gotten by everyone.

I would like to say thank you to pink for not only developing it, but giving up his time to fix everything and take suggestions. It can get frustrating to have so many people asking for fixes (all developers know that pain!) but he's doing it with a smile, which is incredible.

Up to level 90 now; and just froze

...but after 2 seconds it unfroze, but had no music until the next stage... and it's been stuck on the hurry up music for the next 2 stages.

Update: even got an E X T E N D but the hurry up music remained. At level 98 it then changed back to normal. Couldn't test the lightning bubble on level 97 as accidently grabbed the E X T E N D. Will come back after finishing the game
