Try this.. I checked the game and the sphere is just 1 colour, so it makes sense it's just the 1 bitplane!!!

i must see that some of you could help ya out...

now i think you all understood how this piece of software works...

this is really a milestone....
no more help by my side...its really better to try really everything to rip the sprites...even i got sprites that are larger than 1000 (!) pixel...

just play with the tool...it easier than you think...some knowledge about how graphics work on the amiga would be recommend...

next step with the tool could be a really nice idea, but hard to realise...

imagine you´ve got the position where the sprites (especially level creating ones) start and you got all the following adresses...
now search the savestate for a position where all those sprites are combined to create the level...

voila...you should have a complete levelmap...
does anyone understood what i mean...??

@wlcina

no it isn´t interlaced...try to increase the x size to a high value...in one position it should be in original size...

Hey, why so over-sensitive?
If you read my words with care you'll see that I didn't ask for your motivation. It's clear you all do if for fun and that's all right with me, because I KNOW it's fun and some sort of challenge to rip a games gfx.
This thread started in 2002 and then slept for more than 2 yrs and nobody, including you bippy, seemed to care about Tomcats ripper or gfx ripping in general, and now, all of a sudden, ppl do start loads of the gfx ripping activities. All I din't understand is: why not earlier? Soundripping is an old hat for most of you Amiga guys, but it seems the some ppl were never aware of the possibilities of ripping gfx, until now - so what's happened? That's all I wonder about. Peace and think positive

My apologies

Basically I have the shortest possible attention span and I am motivated in different things continually!

If you look you'll see I have loads of things going off at once, which I do depends on my motivation at that time! atm I'm gfx ripping, why I dunno, I also have been learning amiga asm and working on my DemoDVD also I'm a tosec renamer and I also have been working on some WHDLoad HDF's using CAPS and Decreator & Killergorillas releases etc.. I also write the odd (1 so-far) review for APoV.. so as you can see my motivation comes and goes, I guarantee in 2 weeks I'll be doing something else!

As for the others, most (if not all) were not here 2 yrs ago!

That would be very cool, if it were possible, but different games will have their level maps stored in different data structures, won't they? I mean, they won't just be a list of pointers to sprite graphics.

I have most of them ... seeing as I did them, there are one or two I don't have and would like to get them

I've got lots that were never used too

I will upload them somewhere for easy access tonight, can't do it from the office

What I would like is for someone to get at the cd32 intro and outro, I only have the original pencil drawings, but would like copies of them for posterity
