i actually like the witcher.
I specially like the way you fight, instead of machingunning the left mouse button (NWN 1-2, diablo,......) you must press at the right time. Also like it because it has more quests and puzzles to solve. One thing i dont like is all bugs in the game. Lots and lots of random crashes, and thats after two patches. |

Right, back to the main topic methinks...
I'm currently trying to enjoy the newest Settlers, 6 is the number. But I hate it: - adventerous gameplay (you discover land/quests) - gathering resources only in specially signed places (it is logicall in most cases, but why can't I get my farmer to sow/crop almost anywhere, is beyond me...) - limited settlers number (too low for my likeings) - limited amount of resources in the store house (too low for my likeings) - music (not too atmopsheric, easly forgetable, repeatable and boring) - fighting/war (bo-o-o-o-O-ring) - building city walls/gates etc. (bo-o-o-o-O-ring as phuck) - bugs, bUGs, Bugs, bUGS, bUgs, buGs, BUGS, bugS... Surely a few things are fun: - back to the classic road building process, tho anyone can go anywhere, it just makes you faster (like in S2) - upgrading building to a "higher level" = increased productivity - graphics and weather/seasons change S1 was awesomely incredible; S2 I've never played since not owning a PC; S3 was one of my first PC games so I nostalgically like it but is aware of it's "issues" S4 was just a new levels for S3 S5 I never played but it looked like it was just a WarCraft 3 clone S2A I liked but got bored eventually Last edited by Shoonay; 17 December 2007 at 11:32. |

Well I tried to play Stunt Car Racer for LA competition, but now I remember why I disliked this game back in the days.
Even after we finished Lotus III chelange, I am trying to complete all levels. Also last night I played a bit Elite II, watched intro for EOB and Nippon Safes Inc and Dungeon Master. |

@Sens: What be "4ZZ6uK4"?
Anyways, just seen the newest GameTime episode, which reminded me about a few things... 1. I've played Call Of Duty 4. El magnificiente atmosphere&graphics&action&scenario&sound&gameplay, I would encourage everyone to try. It'll last you for about 6 hours... 2. Bionic Commando 3D there will be in the near future. Yippie. 3. Something for you Marco, you polish games lover, you Shadowgrounds Survivor's the name, AlienBreed's clone is the genre... No opinion from me - I'm afraid to try it... |

Shadowgrounds Survivors looks very interesting, i'll look into it after i'll finish Rayman... I loved alien breed games, but i was never able to go past the half, when things get real hectic... |

Thank you GH.
Yes, that's exactly what I meant marco, sorry for the misunderstanding, I was kindof sleepy when writing this... too much work on my old tv... Anyways, while really, really, *REALLY* enjoying the single player mode, with all the magnificiantly prepeared action I was very disappointed that it was that short... And that's because you played easy level??
I didn't play COD 4, but did previous ones and for hard level you got no health packs to pick up. Almost like a real war. (trust me, you don't last long if you try to be a hero ) |

Nope, I've played on normal. Died *many* times trying to check some tricky situations or the dumbnessness of those predifinied bots that almost always come out from the same location.

If you are planning to finish it (captive), then you better start right now, as it will take you life-long to complete the game and to see outro. (which I doubt exists - why make one if nobody will be able to finish the game )
My plan to be king of arcade at total-emu is spoiled by shoonay, which apparently has more time on his hands then I do. |
