May I ask why a few steps back and use v42 code for further versions?

I see. So that's the latest non-official (?) dos.library Ratte was talking about in #112.

Did a quick googling around, but unfortunately I could not find any information about it. What's the differences and/or improvements from v40?

This version used different/better C compiler.
For now I don't which routines are changed/fixed, but minimum one routine is changed.
Present I compare v40 and v42 routines one by one, almost all works identical.
Perhaps you can read some infos on this page (9th point):

BTW. Next version of dos.library is available for tests.

Don Adan thanks for the new version.
The new Dos.library based on 42.1 doesn't have the issues with ToolsDaemon as the previous version. Works rather well from what I tested so far!

Works really well both on my A600 and on my A4000 with GREX.
