Three weeks? I hope not. Units posted last saturday are already arriving in the states. So I am optimistic you can have yours earlier. We just don't want to give anyone a false impression, therefore, we do give a three week time window. You never know...
Your package is due for shipment on Monday. |

Hopefuly customs is quick... I sometimes get stuff late just to find out it's been at customs for a week... With shipping time less than that.

does anyone already have a bill of materials if i could solder mine alone ??
and are the schematics the same that were used for the first production batch ?? i really honor your work, but the fact that they are already sold out and i like to do things alone i want to build my own. if you don´t have a problem with it... |

I did wonder about that but it does say Amiga on the manuals? Perhaps that's why she hasn't ansered any of my emails? LOL
I've had no correspondence from her since the end of the auction. I think you could be right about that, alot of instructions did carry other systems. |

updated schematics are coming, but not priority. we made the schematics free for a reason, but somehow no one made one... and we published schematics in february. might be too expensive, the pcb alone is about 40 euros, for a small (max. 5) boards... |

My package arrived today. Box squashed quite a bit but everything important looks untouched. Nicely presented and thanks for including printed instructions etc and I believe a sticker of the board...
Now the excitement is over, where the hell do we start? LOL I need to get a 1TB USB HD or something similair... The work laptop only has a 80g HD And what's very cool is I am so glad I have so much junk, I was searching through my collection of ac adapters and general junk and came across an iomega ZIP ac/dc power supply with a OUTPUT 5V=== 1000mA and the power output perfectly fits the power socket on the KF! I didn't actually realise you could have 2 drives!!!! I assume you need 2 dos prompts to get that going? Btw, not to stir too much up but when is the projected ability to write back to disks proper images I hate to think how many of my originals aren't error free anymore! thanks! You can set the actual drive by using the -d command.
So we have a board in NZ now |

It's not the only one. It think at least five board went to NZ, and five more to Australia. BTW can anyone report about how customs went? Any additonal costs? We were legally "enforced" to put declaration stickers onto everything that went out of the EU. |
