Hi Nova,
I just tried to get "Back to Saturn X E1 - Get Out of My Stations" working but got this error upon launch: Any ideas? Noticed there's also a .DEH file for this game; it seems to be updated text... so I guess I should point to that also? Finally, the "Readme" for this game it says that there are 3 episodes, but could only find "Episode 2: Tower in the Fountain of Sparks"... Do you plan to add this also or will it just run (haven't tested)? ![]() Last edited by DamienD; 08 March 2021 at 21:10. |

Strange it works fine for me, maybe there's something wrong with your version of DOOM 2, the readme has a link to check your WAD version.

![]() I think I need some clarity here; I'm going to list the exact steps I took after intergretting what you've said, and you can hopefully see where I've gone wrong:

Yep should work fine. You just need to specify them as file1, file2, file3 etc as ToolTypes or just open a Shell and use the command line (as per ZDOOM readme)

Hey I'm looking for some help here. I'm a pretty new Amiga user. Just gonna throw that out front haha. I just got an Apollo v4 SA and wanted to see it flex a little. I've been having a hard time getting doom to run. I got chocolate doom to run pretty easy, but was disappointed with the performance. So I've been working on the zdoom port. I can get the rtg version to run. But the colors are all skewed. Red is cyan, etc.. I couldn't get the aga version to run. If I'm correct, the v4 uses their SAGA tech like a graphics card. So using rtg is how I have to use aga graphics? Seems confusing in the context of this source port. But my install process was: extract zdoom lha in desired location, extract doom sound libs in zdoom root folder, add doom wad, run zdoom. Any help would be appreciated! (I recently updated my core).

Sorry, can't help you with your vampire issues because I don't know much about them but your installation sounded mostly right apart from that the sound library should really go in your System/Libs folder with your other libraries.
Are you trying to run the RTG version in a window or full screen? If you are trying to use a window then your desktop colour depth will need to be more than 8 bit to avoid strange colours. |
