Yes, musashi and Toni did a great job
![]() Thanks for the offer, tteich. I will probably dump some images myself first and code some software that does some analysing and where I can manually compare the track data of different dumps. I'll probably try to get a ParNet cable and use that instead of the serial connection. How fast will the transfer speed be over that? Since musashi is releasing what he has and interested people can try out the image, I plan to take my time to do it as good as I can, so progress will be rather slow. |

Slightly OT: Are there any IDE or Ethernet adapters for the clockport? It would speed up and simplify things if I could use the A500/A1000 clockport adapter from Individual Computers in the CDTV and connect a IDE/Ethernet adapter there if one exists.

All right, I need help... I downloaded the image, followed the instructions and I have serious problems:
1. DaemonTools does not accept bootdisk.cue because (allegedly) track1 does not start at 00:00:00, so.... 2. I go ahead and mount track1.bin because that is practically all I can do, but when I boot CDTV configuration my game does not start. If I boot CD32, it starts but has no videos (obviously, because I mounted track1.bin) and the graphics are garbled. Any help? |

I never tried it in anything except Alcohol120%. Just edit the .cue in Notepad to 00:00:00 and see if DaemonTools likes it better.

I guess in theory there is no reason why the CD accesses couldn't be hooked and spool the video from the dump files on a regular Amiga.
Don't think that a WHDLoad install is easy due to the large video files and the problems with OS-swapping while streaming. There was a similar thread discussing Microcosm a few weeks ago. |
