After SotB, this is one of the most beautiful A500 game I have ever seen .

Joke aside : Amazing work and very "want to play this game" trailer !
Can only say "Whaou !" to the all team behind this master piece

And due to the "Shinobi" spirit that is coming from the video, I am sure Damien will finish the beta test version with great pleasure .

I've only had a quick bash; my poor old laptop gets too hot running this via Steam

...but I must admit that I suck at this; only passed the first stage after 15 minutes of trying (and this is on "Normal" mode)

Thank you Malko;

Amiga style graphics is really what was on my mind while doing this game.
I am especially amazed by Mark Coleman work on Gods, to me he is one the best.
I kept showing the Shadow Gangs artist Gods in-game pictures (And other games too).

I recommend first finishing the missions in easy.
I am still tweaking the difficulty as I am getting a lot of feedback on the whole game.

Once you get used to the layout, enemy patterns etc... you will beat the game.
And also, no fear, if you hesitate, you die!

Hey Jack,

Had a quick play when I got home from work.

Managed to get to the 1st Mission boss, but didn't pass him as yet (even though I've worked out the technique)

He is a barrier to the rest of the game

Once you defeat it, you unlock mission 2 and then can start the mission 2 directly always from the mission select menu.

Had another bash after dinner... so am now on Mission 2, playing "Normal" mode

The graphics are absolutely lovely and obviously I adore the game style

I'm still yet to try Ninja Magic or the Mines.

...and the gun bonus stage is quite difficult, the ninja one not so much if you're an experienced "Shinobi" player.

Would be nice if say a 25% opacity "scanlines" option could somehow be added as an option?

Also, I'm a Steam virgin... it's really annoying that the mouse pointer doesn't auto-disappear after a short time of inactivity (as it's not needed in the game).

No mines or magic with Collin too?
Great job, other testers all used mines and magic with Collin as he was very challenging.

I am impressed.

Nope, no Ninja Magic or Mines at all yet.

Yeah, I do the same with Shinobi and barely use Ninja Magic...even on bosses (well, accept for the Buddha's)

The above was just a quick bit of feedback. Once I've played through the complete game I'll give you much more thorough analysis, for what my opinion's worth

Never thought about that, I just pushed the cursor to the side until it disappeared. Good point, I'll fix.

I'd say leave it as is for now; maybe I just need a bit more practice.

It does need to be challenging, and not a walk in the park for even the first 5 - 10 attempts.

Like you I love scanlines; and use them in every emulator.

I think too dark ones would definitely ruin the amazing graphics, but 25% opacity could look really good I think

ok, if it still feel difficult after some more tries, I'll reduce the difficulty.

Just got to the Mission 2 boss; only had 2 lives left, and got wasted before I could figure out the strategy / pattern.

I only had 2 quick attempts, and got pushed back to the left and died... tried to jump over him but was unsuccessful.

I will try again tonight once home; and work out the strategy / pattern.

Really looking foward to it. Great game!!!

Yes, jump over him to the other side if cornered, the double jump will only trigger if it is in the going down phase.

Between, what is the build number you have (just to check), it shows up in the main menu in a scrolling text down on the screen.

I will maybe tonight.

Current version is 1.04

I don't know if auto update works or not, because when i put a new update, I don't see Steam downloading it...

The solution i do is exit the Steam app, and start it again, then I can see that it did find a new download and is queuing it.
