Hey all, wanted to drop a long overdue video update. Life etc has been blocking development, but we do continue at a slower pace until some chance for a holiday.
Watch it in 720p/50fps if it look janky. Video Update: [ Show youtube player ] The boss graphics you see here ARE placeholder. Ripped from arcade title while Invent works on our own concept and artwork. PLACEHOLDER ART WARNING You get a bit of a look at the workflow for building out more complex behaviours, and we have worked on lots of optimisations and features. A few things that come to mind, CD32 control support using 4 buttons for those with them. 2 button will be essential to play, but full benefit if you have 4. Fixed a lot of bugs with display, and massively improved clipping, collision and general data pipeline. Have been experimenting more with using copper to help performance. Lots of bugs fixed… always. Hope you enjoy, please subscribe if you enjoy, it really helps the motivation tanks. Last edited by Auscoder; 28 February 2023 at 16:22. Reason: 50fps update |

The sense of speed and the playfield size is very impressive.

Yup, I liked Powder a lot as well. Quite harder than it should've been, but very nice pixel art, animations and sound.

Might be a little picky (sorry) but the patreon page has image of the homing bullet. On this, at center of the page it what looks like 'hands'; the left of these (where ball is being released) seems to be 2 finger tips but the proximal digit is disconnected so it looks like the finger is either attached to the neighbouring one or floating? |
