DemonHellraiser is right!
As long as we know you have 2 Amigas A1200: At least one of them has this setup: "amiga 1200, apollo1200 8meg, 3.1 roms. os3.1. 80 gig hard drive. and now a liteon dvd cd rom, 17" lcd tv" Retronerd told you already that the Apollo 1200 with 8 mb simm will conflict with the pcmcia slot, so you will have to get either a lesser simm (4 mb) or a better turbo card if you want to use the pcmcia slot to insert a CF to PCMCIA adapter to exchange files between your pc and amiga..yes its useful! http://www.myshopping.com.au/ZM--304...eaders_Writers (just for reference since the price is to high) You also seem to have some kind of flicker fixer already installed in one of your 1200´s since you have a 15 pin VGA connection near the mouse... If you can take your Amiga top cover and take a few pictures maybe we could identify the hardware for you. Last edited by Yoto; 03 February 2009 at 18:15. |

come on, it's just as easy as stripping your old mobo out of the PC 'n' replacing all the bits 'n' bobs inside

but if you have two - you can take your time and do a NICE AND SLOW practice run. I am terrible with electronics - last time i did any i grabbed the capacitor in the back of the tv, i started dancing and the misses wet herself laffing, and as i am a weight lifter i am hamfisted to say the least. But I lay everything out on my desk and take digital piccies of evrything so i can look at how things were when i am left with spare screws and pieces of wiring.

Take it easy, it's not that hard or complicated. At least the miggy doesn't use the clip system where you end up smashing the whole case up just trying to get in. It will come apart quite easily and we're not asking you to dismantle everything inside, we just want a look at the hardware. |

So leytond, this Amiga your selling, you never opened it right?; do you know if what your selling has any special hardware besides the HD?
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting And why you´r not shipping it Worldwide? |

And i agree with you leytond, if you´r not capable enough you should avoid taking the amiga top cover, it´s really hard to unscrew all the 5 screws...it can probably take a day or so. That´s also the reason why they invented Shoes with velcro laces.

You're joking right. Go with instinct and not the Jeremy Clarkson hammer approach, you'll find it so easy you'll be embarrassed to tell us |

@ Yotoxionomai
all i can tell you about the amiga is what i was told when i bought it, and that it works of course, no i dont know what is inside apart from the hard drive , and i was told it is a 2.5" 170meg, if i remember correctley. this is the spare amiga i have so i havnt realy playd with it that much. |
