I passed a shop where shadow of the beast was playing in demo mode, I simply didn t realise what was happening
colors depth and smooth...
And first time I heard an amiga was with ghostbusters 2 intro... that was simply too much

I remember at the time, my idea of a dream machine were the RM Numbus PC186s that we had at school (These were non IBM compatible PCs which all the schools in my area had, which even by 1993 were antiques, not that I knew that at the time)

My first exposure of the Amiga was When we went around a work mate of my dad's house to see his Amiga 600. We looked at some coverdisk demos but nothing I can really remember but I knew the Amiga 600 was the machine for me.

My pairents went to get an Amiga 600 "The Wild! The Weird! The Wicked!" Pack, but the shop was sold out, so they got the Amiga 1200 "Desktop Dynamite" Pack instead. My birthday came and I got my A1200 and was immediately blown away, much better than the A600. For me the game that impressed me was the intro sequence to Oscar AGA and that scrolling landscape background, wonderful!

Still My dad's always been more of a gamer than me and the programs I loved the most at first were DPaint IV AGA and Wordworth 2 AGA.

I could swear I've posted in this thread already, but anyway...

One of the games from the A500+ Cartoon Classics pack, which one exactly I can't remember but it was definitely one of them.

First game was Shufflepucks Cafe - the title music is awesome. I remember playing that for hours and hours.

First game I ever saw (and played) was a crappy bouncing game thingie that came with my Amiga 500. It was pretty bad I seem to recall (it's not Jumping Jackson I'm talking about, JJ is great).

The first "real" game I played though was.. hmm.. it's so long ago now, hard to remember.. but I think it was either Test Drive 2 or Dogs of War (which I finished without losing any lives ).

The next game after that was Rick Dangerous which I thought was awesome... and then I got Duck Tales. Duck Tales was the game that impressed me the most - I thought the graphics were absolutely stunning! These days I think it's rather poorly programmed for the Amiga, the scrolling and stuff is rubbish.. but back then, the graphics (especially in the still pictures) and the few lines of speech was incredibly impressive for me

I was coming from Speccy and when I saw (and heard) SOTB3, I couldnt believe it.I was really lucky guy because other games I played in first days I owned Amiga were Monkey Island, Street Fighter2 and Sensible Soccer. When I played MI and Guybrush got in Scumm bar, I listened the music for minutes because I had never heard anything like that before. And when Guybrush left Scumm bar and "Meanwhile" subtitle appears following the music, I had orgasm
Beast III - some music themes are f*****g great. Rest of them is just great.

The first 16bit game was Prince of Persia, I played it on PC (with no sound), and it made me wanting real computer, no Speccy anymore

Really? I'm not sure LucasArts had that in mind for an 'exhilarative adventure' !

It was Popolous (I owned a C64 those days). Totally new genre, great GFX. This game was one of the main reasons I bought an A500.
