The Bottom grab is from sysspeed, i didn't run the benchmark because it failed to run, i think because i don't have some apps installed that it uses.

Edit, i ran the SysSpeed Benchmark and it reports 106 Mips

You should run SysSpeed from aminet. http://aminet.net/package/util/moni/sspeed26
I still like AIBB for those test, myself.

Thanks for warm welcome . I had lots of problems with this Apollo . Bought it faulty and what ever I did, press on it etc. it did not start so I thougt I will buy a new CPU and I bought 68EC060 - stupid waste of money at this time , then I bought full 060. Took old 040 out, put a socket and tried 040 again and it started when I pressed on it. It turned out it was dry join on 74LS. Why I did not do it at the first place I do not know. I probably wanted 060 very bad . It works now with 040 but I have to do a mod on my 1D4 board yet. Anyway, Amiga is the best computer I know. it has got a soul. Whenever I go to car boot sale and see it I have to buy it (5 pounds for such a great piece of electronic ) I have ended with a few A500, A500+, few A600, A2000 and three A1200. I have started in 1998 when my mom bought me A500. Swap it for CD32 with SX. Great time ... . It haunts my dreams till now ... .

Hi Dimlow.

You have recommended 27c010 150ns or less. Why is that ? Will 155ns still work fine ?

@Dimlow,

I have installed ClassicWB (FULL) on my 1200/060 and have come across the same issue of crashing when I double click on an Icon. I saw yur earlier post where yu had the same problem.... How did you overcome this?

Cheers,

To be honest i cant remember, but i do i know that i got these problems only before i had installed the drivers for the 1260. If i remember right, they don't install correctly from the disk. what i had to do was copy the files from the 1260 directory to the libs directory. there is a post on here some place that explains it. I had to do some searching.

Thanks Dimlow,
I have done this already as the system crashed during boot-up without the correct 060 libs. You mentioned it may have been due to the icon-patching or something like that.... but didn't elaborate on how you fixed that problem.
Thanks anyway.
PS. Glad to see you got those 2 boards you got off me working fine
