Once again, thanks for your work. I compiled a few new databases available under ~Uploads/curtcool along with the ones I did last year, in the archive ADFW_Databases_V12_VariousDiskCollections_20220803.zip. So now all of my Danish collections, all of the Dutch collections and a few others are also available for comparison with whatever you've got.

To avoid messing up the analysis results and especially to identify the origin of the results, I suggest you add [UseDBName] at the end of the database filename :
Aero_TSL.db > Curtcool - Aero_TSL[UseDBName].db Before Code:
CRC32 based identification : Clean disk_______*[908650CA] 202 TOP 100 based on track and cylinder identification : 1) 90.4% [A87ED1E7] 0263 - Super Monaco GP Super Monaco GP (1991)(U.S. Gold)[cr CSL][a2] Super_Monaco_Grand_Prix super_monaco_gp_crystal super_monaco_gp_crystal_variant unknown_684 90.4% [FE6D4006] super_monaco_gp_crystal 2) 89.6% [339758AA] super_monaco_gp_crystal 89.6% [56205DD9] super_monaco_grand_prix 89.6% [7A4B15E8] Super Monaco GP (1991)(U.S. Gold)[cr CSL] 89.6% [BBF56B81] super_monaco_gp_crystal_atomic 3) 88.8% [37555661] super_monaco_gp_crystal_BROKEN_RWERROR 4) 56.7% [53B3CEB4] Monaco Grand Prix Code:

Thanks for this fine tool Crashdisk!
I can find /~Uploads/Crashdisk/, but not the subfolder "ADF-Workshop" on the FTP server meanwhile. Could you upload the new version somewhere? Hope Drag&Drop is still in there, because that was a nice improvement... |

What Snoopy1234 means is that you can now find ADF-Workshop in 'Non Amiga/Tools for Amiga/ADF-Workshop' on the file server
Little more tidy link: http://ftp2.grandis.nu/turran/FTP/No.../ADF-Workshop/ |

Thanks guys, found it.
@Crashdisk, would be great if you re-implement drag&drop like it was in a previous version from 2015. Adds a lot to usability imho. However, nice tool. |

Hah, never had thought it could be enabled at runtime. Nice, should have been easy
Btw, I found some .dms on our ftp (Folder Alfred Amiga Console BBS) which miss the password and it's a really nice feature that ADFW not only finds the CRC-key but also finds a pseudo-pw for it. Trivia: As an excercise I wrote a key-to-password bruteforcer myself now, to find more pseudo-passwords and eventually discover the one that was originally used, but - as you already know - the CRC16 keyspace is so small that you just find thousands of strings, even when limited to short pwds. So, no cigar, but a fun exercise. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigeonhole_principle |

@Nightshft
There are still DMS whose password is not known in Alfred BBS? Do you have an example? Note that the program updates its database (add.brainfile) when it discovers a new file. |

@Crashdisk
At a brief look I haven seen any info for the dms pw together with the Alfred BBS files (subfolder 'Amiga0') at our ftp, that's what I meant. ADFW knew them instantly from its database, so all is fine. I haven't tinkered around with encrypted DMS files before, so this was a learning experience. Btw, I read that other crackers for encrypted dms exist, apart from ADFW (which works perfectly) but so far I found none (for example on Aminet). |

Good question...I think WinUAE should do this seamlessly, but I don't know how well it works, I never use DMS files with WinUAE. |

I've placed a few database updates here:
/~Uploads/Crashdisk/ADF-Workshop/database_ADF - NonTOSEC - Crashdisk (v2023-05-09) - TOSEC (v2023-01-23) - Unrenamed - Commercial CD (v2023-03-22) - Unrenamed - Warez scene (v2023-04-30) If you can't find them, it's probably because TCD has moved them here: /Non Amiga/Tools for Amiga/ADF-Workshop/ Please remember, DB files must be unzipped in the "database_ADF" folder |
