I don't have a Workbench 1.3 disk to test that way with the A500, but will try it with the A600 tomorrow.

The way I see it, you NEED to have one real machine to test. I am happy to help in acquiring one.

In order to gain some more cycles to go on 50hz, I can:

- reduce parallax size, since is too big compared to coin-op
- Use less colors and for lower
- Use HW sprite for lower panel since it allmost black, and waste a lot of dma slots.

Looks fine now in WinUAE (no crashes), exception is still the Rygar sprite corruption at the end of the level (summary room).

So, the game needs ECS Agnus/Denise as minimum? Starting with OCS shows graphics mess but switching to the ECS modes on-the-fly works.

Yes We need 1MB if chip mem. Others bugs are know. I'll handle them. It was important to make it run well, and see if it go at 50hz

BTW. exe still have debug info for Monam that's why it's so big

Well, with real Amiga 500 speed in emulation there are already some slight slowdowns. But mostly it runs in 50fps.

With some of the before mntioned optimization, we can get bette. If you can test, I can drop ones with less color for lower panel and see if it'll be flawless 50hz.

This version freezes after hitting the first enemy, then it crashes with a guru.

Bug Gone. Can You test it? About Speed, maybe we're CPU bound!

I'll try to give more slots, to see if we're dma bound

Sound bug seems gone now. But sometimes the games freezes right before you enter the summary room (music is still playing, no gurus).
