oops sorry I forgot about the updated version and used the first version when copying the tune across. Ah well least it's all done now.
edit: although if I was really being picky I'd point out that the trainer says it's the Crystal crack (was there anything wrong with the Crystal crack, why did you go for the Quartex one)? |

...and Crashdisk will also be satisfied with this version as when analysing this new .ADF in "ADF-Workshop" everything is green; no red; especially for the "ingametune" file

I *think* the broken trained CLS crack has a custom bootblock which loads the trainer. With my limited knowledge I can't see the trainer (as above; probably in the bootblock) so there was no way for me to fix either trained CLS versions. Hence why I used the QTX crack and then copied over the Slipstream trainer as I knew what I was doing and it worked Last edited by DamienD; 02 June 2016 at 23:25. |

...so taking into account this information; the final .ADF should probably be named (or something similar): Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr QTX][f Codetapper][t +4 Slipstream].adf TOSEC guys; please advise??? |

Variety is the spice of life and all that...
...so, I analysed the 2 x [b] trained versions using "ADF-Workshop". Here's the details of the bad files: Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream][b corrupt file].adf Code:
fx | 33.444|00000000|OK|OK|KO|1991.09.05 23:59|Sect 1712 seq 4 => Data block corrupted | ingametune | 51.212|00000000|OK|OK|KO|1991.09.06 00:55|Sect 2 seq 46 => Data block filled >>$00 Filled<< | VC | 8.516|00000000|OK|OK|KO|1991.09.06 01:18|Sect 948 seq 1 => Data block corrupted | Code:

I guess even by copying working files across the boot block then goes funny?!? Belgo; I've put the fixed "Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream].adf" in The Zone! Personally though, I like the "layout" of the .ADF created / tested last night better so that's what I'll be using |

Not that I really wanted to (because lets face it; this game isn't exactly the best shoot 'em up in the world)... and I really love shoot 'em ups
...but for peace of mind I tested the newly fixed "Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream].adf" file. I'm happy to report that all is working 100% without any issues So, that now means that we have these 2 .ADFs that are fixed (beyond the original floppy version) and play tested 100%: ... Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr QTX][t +4 Slipstream].adf ... Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream].adf Shame that I couldn't fix the "[t +11 LGD]" trained version though but I won't be loosing sleep over it |

@DamienD
We have to wait for Crashdisk to apply corrections and/or add new images. |

Hello everyone,
I just dissect all copies of the game "Sky High Stuntman" and it may be noted some things: - As noted mai, this game is not DOS - Unlike Quartex, Crystal cracked this game as if it is not DOS - The checksum errors detected on some files is quite normal! - [FB907E5C] Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +11 LGD] is not trained by Legend, this is a mistake on our part, not a malfunction - [081868B1] Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream][b corrupt file] contains an error in the file "fx" - The "ingametune" file is incorrect in all known versions apart on the rerelease of the game (dumped with WHDLoad) It seems to me that a number of manipulations mentioned here was not necessary! What versions should benefit from a correction of the file "ingametune"? |

Hi Crashdisk, nice to see you back.
Please fix the LGD Trainer Version, it's the hard one to fix. |

Hello Crashdisk,
Thanks for you analysis and information A few things: Ok sure thing; when I created / fixed the two versions listed below I copied good files over the reported checksum error files from the .IPF: a) Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr QTX][t +4 Slipstream].adf [CRC: 2F32BB12] b) Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream].adf [CRC: FEAB6D84] I presume what you're saying is that I didn't need to do this? Afterwards they look fine in "ADF-Workshop" and no longer have the checksum error files; isn't that a good thing? I've also play tested 100% and no issues Does this mean that you are not going to include the above 2 "new" files in TOSEC? Even the .IPF has this issue... and yes Belgarath grabbed the "fixed" ingametune file from the WHDLoad version; but to answer your question, all versions in TOSEC would need this. The "[t +4 Slipstream]" isn't linked as far as I can tell and as mentioned I've play tested both files 100% in terms of: a) Trainer / options. b) All levels (without any graphics issues). c) End sequence. Quote:

Sky High Stuntman (1991)(Codemasters)[cr CSL][t +4 Slipstream] is fixed too, it should be noted that the "ingametune" files 7 bad sectors in this release.

I'm not against adding a version IPF=>ADF of Flashback if it brings something to the whole lot. I saw your version, but there you replace files without valid reason. For example, alterations in the file "VC" are part of the crack of Crystal. Moreover, this manipulation on the version of Crystal (without trainer therefore) does not work ... |

@Crashdisk
Thanks for the fixed disks. @DamienD Dont worry, we prefer "fix in place" fixed disks, in other words, disks without needless modifications. The most important thing is, that you have reported naming error - this is the thread for. |

...also as a matter of consistency; especially considering that these came from copying .IPFs --> .ADFs: Quote:
