Are we going to see that new WIP ADF set in the good old Mai and Crashdisk NotInTOSEC folders as the new versions have been listed on the site for ages as existing as a WIP and normally we would get them added to NotInTOSEC before it comes out as a final released or has that system been scrapped and only final releases are getting official folders now?

Looking at my FS-UAE scan for games there are quite a lot of Gamebase 1.6 dumps missing currently and hopefully the WIP would sort that out as well as give me some new releases too.

Love the TOSEC work.

@TEOL
What server do you referring to?

PS: this thread is normally reserved for corrections / additions to the TOSEC database!

Mai and Crashdisk on here of course. There used to be a Not In TOSEC folder for releasing the stuff listeed in this thread as well as the current TOSEC WIP combined under your names as well as the latest final update but now it seems to be only the later finals and that folder isn't in them anymore it used to be a way of getting the latest WIP TOSEC before it even comes out on final which used to be a really cool feature unique to EAB's ADF sets to get these WIP's with all the intro listed here and on TOSEC Forums before they are finallized. Just wanted to know what happened to that Not In TOSEC folder as I would love to check out whats in these before the finalized dates. I know most of it's the intros that are listed in this thread and the WIP thread on the main forum but thats the point because those folders used to exist we used to be able to grab those WIP games. Eternal Psygnosis is going to dump a load of ADF stuff so I guess I am hyped to get those as soon as possible from the TOSEC as well if any have even been sent yet as they are still at the beginning of indexing them so I doubt it but still if bringing the Not In TOSEC folder back from the grave gets WIP updates as they come in thats unique and cool to EAB.

Hi, I've run Commodore Amiga - Games - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2014-08-01_CM).dat on my collection and found some things that may need fixing, I hope they help. Sorry about the bad naming, I don't have a method of copy/pasting the TOSEC names but the CRC should be sufficient.

The following have virus corruption, but appear clean with Adfscan & ABBR, probably cleaned after damage occured (contain text: SCA!LSD!AEK!)
gone fish'n v0.60 e3bb23f4
jet v1.01 744ae237
adv ski sim 4b55b00e
airborne ranger a8c0f0b0
beyond the ice palace d568bdfe
captain blood v1.00 5057f821
days o t 7221914c
Manhattan d 0b19dc47
power drift cdd831ad
red heat 6283cb71
street fighter 146f64f1 *possible GFX files corruption

(contain text: SCA!)
revenge defender 85d490b4

These have lamer exterminator corruption (unknown effects - contain repeated text: Lamer!)
peter b i football 27c7c38e
battle valley 62ef126a
star fleet 516fc24e

Detections (Adfscan & ABBR):
Arnhem b71cc30 [v Saddam 1]
Danger freak 5c84c8a3 [v Lamer Exterminator 2]
ies hockey dc334d45 [v Saddam 1] *naming problem
fightin spirit 1d1d68e2 [v liberator v5.01]
Indy & L.C 65924f24 [v Butonic v3.00]
starflight2 f23bcb44 [v Saddam 1]
zork3 7e202fba [v randomaccess VK v2.1]

Possible incorrect virus names: (my scanners are not so accurate because sinbad d1 was not detected)

metal masters disk 1 6071cfea [v Butonic v3.00] (adfscan) *disk2 seems correct)
dark queen 1b02dc31 [v Byte Bandit 1] (ABBR) (v Saddam 1] (adfscan) *double infection? Is revenge the same as BBv1?
weird dreams 7ca8865a *I'm not seeing saddam, butonic is found.
sinbad D1 2a8af128 = byte bandit? *(disk 2 has it) (unknown adfscan, abbr)

Cheers

Small correction:

Clou!, Der v1.0 (1994-03-11)(Max Design)(DE)(Disk 1 of 4)[cr DCD] has to be considered as bad - the intro music at the cementery scene in the beginning is missing. Check the "cp manual code" and "TRZ" release for reference.
...fixed, Crashdisk. Thank you!

Regarding Clou!, Der v1.0 (1994-03-11)(Max Design)(DE)(Disk 1 of 4)[o][cp manual code] and other non-standard sized ADFs: Is it a proper way to create a standard ADF that is not overdumped with creating a DOSCOPY to a clean, standard 880KB ADF? As the disk uses no special filesystem and is readable in the Workbench, there should be no problem - right?

Indeed, either a bad release or cracking fault.
...waiting for Crashdisk, since he maintains games section!

Indeed, i dont like such images, but its against the rules of TOSEC to remove.

So, is it okay that I take the overdumped ADF, create a proper DOSCOPY and propose it to TOSEC after intense testing? Intense in this case means that the game is still bootsble from floppy disk and can perform a complete HD install.

No efforts in this case, we can do it for ourselves!
Anyway, thank you very much for reports!

The question is whether we should do it or not but this is not my priority at the moment...
