Unlucky PowerPie 5000, joysticks are touch and go, you never know how much wear and tear they have had. As with the 1000 I purchased I am over the moon as I have always wanted one of these ever since I see one running in Selfridges in the 80's. It's been my first chance to get my hands on one so I hope it all works. Just got to get my hands on a boot disk now.

You may want to keep an eye on this for your A1000: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Commodore-Amig...item2a0b97548a

Also the seller is kindly sending me out another joystick and also said i could keep the faulty one. The replacement is another micro-switched stick called a "Micro-Blaster" http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Micro-Blaster-...002160ffc9a091

Took a chance on this as it seemed a very good price.

The Amiga 1000 turned up today. Bloody fantastic. The box had all the poly inserts and the machine is in great condition, just needs a little clean. It booted up Workbench lovely. I am just so chuffed with this

Lot of:
3 A500s, 2 A600s, A2000, A1200, CD32, 2 1084s, Overdrive + lots of disks, cd's, mice, joysticks, and some other stuff.

Not all of it works, though

Thanks, so do I. I will open it at the weekend as I would like to give it a clean. I hope to make a bid on that escort 2mb ram expansion when it gets nearer to the end. Apparently it can take a zorro one board so does anybody not what type of expansion that can be put in this ? Can a 1000 be made to work with a hard drive?

Bought a new old school Cordata mechanical switch keyboard for my peecee. Has a big PS2 to small PS2 converter, no multimedia keys, and no Winblows keys (don't need them, don't use them), either. Great

Big improvement over that cheapo M$ keyboard I was using before.

Times of Lore Complete c64 version.

Have very fond memories of that game.

Now only to get a C64 and a disk drive.

The perfect ECS machine.... it has a numpad unlike the A600 and looks better than the chunky A2000

All i need now is some fast ram and some kind of hard drive expansion

Without trying to bellite Daggers purchase, I consider the perfect a500 to the ECS 1.3KS machine as dont have all the compatability problems then either, or maybe that just me as thats what I had all those years ago and more amazingly when i got an a500 more recently got the same type.

The only problem with using KS 1.3 is.... No WHDLoad support! I intend on making this A500+ a full ECS WHDLoad machine

A1200 Amiga Technologies version from someone on Amibay and also registered here. Looking forward to getting a decent working A1200 - mine has booting issues probably due to caps.
