Amiga used on news report about cyber bullying

I was watching the ITV News this lunch time and noticed in a report on cyber bulling they used some stock video of a young lad on his Amiga

[ Show youtube player ]

Im sure cyber bulling was pretty much unheard of back when this clip was created

Thought that was pretty awesome!

Sorry about starting a new thread, I couldn't find that one with all the posts when the Amiga is featured/used on something.

Back then, cyber bullying was about bullying people who were good with computers (aka nerds), so the guy in the video would probably be a target.

Is it Amiga in Army of One? Or maybe it's Atari ST?

Here's a (supposedly) Amiga-driven BBC quiz show that's so obscure you'd need the memory of an elephant to recall it:

[ Show youtube player ]

What's interesting about "Box Clever" is that it dates from 1986, in the era of the Amiga 1000's infancy. You'll hear the trademark speech synthesis and a few sound effects culled from the Sonix Instruments disk at around 4 mins in. For further confirmation of the Amiga involvement, jump to the end of the YT link above to witness Commodore Amiga in the credits, and read more about it here:

http://vhistory.wordpress.com/2014/0...rted-tape-171/

Thought it was a curiosity worth sharing! I suspect the Amiga display is being slightly enhanced with some broadcast genlock trickery.. I can't decide whether, had I seen it at the time, I would have regarded it as futuristic-looking, or sneer at it for looking like it had been knocked up on Digi Paint in 10 minutes.

NB: Not my vid, not my blog :-)

Looks like it. And a C64 breadbin right underneath it.
