Please don't stress, I think I can talk for everybody here saying that we really appreciate your effort making these and the last thing we want is for you to burn out and stop making these amazing things for us.

Take your time, anyone should understand the independent nature of this project, it's just one guy doing everything from designing the PCBs, assembling, packing, going to post office, etc.! Take as much time as you feel you need to do things right, and just keep people in the loop like you just did, no stress!

I still haven't been able to build my unit but I am really looking forward to the moment I can

Cheers man! I have put so much effort into this so it's frustrating when things go wrong that are out of my control. I will open a PayPal dispute against Seeed Studio soon if they continue not answering my emails.

I buy "Sega Genesis controller extension cables" from various eBay sellers. They have all 9-pins connected. I then cut off the male connector (no pun intended). I ordered a batch of 50 Sega Genesis controller replacement cables from a seller on Alibaba.com also over a month ago, but surprise surprise, I haven't received those yet.

Seeed may have shipped the PCBs today, at least it says so on the website when I just checked. I haven't received a confirmation by email as a I usually do but fingers crossed. I was starting to think about other ways to do this.

Two months ago I did an order of partly assembled PCBs because I noticed I was getting too many orders than I could solder myself. So if all goes well now, I should receive a batch of partly assembled PCBs that I will use for preassembled orders and another batch of bare PCBs that I will use for kits.

I'm interested in 2 fully assembled gray controllers, if you still take orders.

I finally got round to building one of my two kits last night as well.

Really impressive, loads better than when the Joypad was a USB SNES one.
I think it's to do with the thicker PCB and gold contacts.

Good work MickGyver!

I FINALLY received the PCBs and have already assembled a few gamepads. I will soon start contacting people on my list.

Due to popular demand and since I'm doing this in my spare time I have decided to supply ONE assembled gamepad per person as a start. I'm doing this so more people on my list can get a gamepad sooner rather than never. I hope you find this to be fair. When/if I catch up with the queue, I can assemble more for people who want a second or even third gamepad.

If you want more than one gamepad faster you will have to buy kits and assemble them yourself, or find someone who can assemble them for you. Printed instructions are available for the assembly process, I'm also thinking of doing a how to assemble video.

I'd also like to get in line for an assembled pad. Preferably black, but not that important.

So now the big question is..... does anyone else want to assemble these and sell them on to speed up the orders?

I'm happy to do so, but it's MickGyver decision.
