This definitely indicates that the system clock (date) is incorrectly set.

In Aminet's case, the certificate was issued on 20 December 2023, so your date must be before that.

Setting the system clock correctly is critical for any web browser, not just for SSL, but for cookies too.

http://mos.aminet.net - ppc-morphos, generic ppc-morphos generic

http://aros.aminet.net - i386-aros, generic i386-aros

That said, I can get to the main aminet.net site, and the cert I am seeing looks valid (at least on my Windows machine; not able to use my Amiga right now).
So maybe there is something up with Aminet????
I had the same problem on PC on Sunday. I solved it by changing the url to https://

I have another issue when trying to enable the button graphics under preferences, Navigation toolbar. I get this error message for all buttons.

Yes, all those files are in the images folder. I'm guessing it's some datatype I might be missing?

Missing PNG datatype, most likely. You could reinstall IBrowse with the 32 colour imageset (these use ILBM format), whereas the 256 colour uses PNG.

I checked the classes directory and the PNG datatype is present anyways I did as you suggested but I am still getting these error messages when starting IBrowse, not entirely sure why?

One strange thing is I don't have this problem with the 2.5.8 release, just tried a fresh installation of it and it works without any problems.

Figured out the problem, I had the images directory incorrectly set to the Ram:Images rather than PROGDIR:Images. Now it's all working again.
