He he, sorry about the dirt

It's well known that USB and WHDLoad aren't compatible, you need to disable the USB stack first

Thats exactly what the options ExecuteCleanup and ExecuteStartup commands are for :-) http://whdload.de/docs/en/opt.html#ExecuteCleanup
Don't have a real example right now, but I use it to disable my network card if enabled before starting WHDLoad.

Ordered a RapidRoad from Vesalia yesterday and a VarIO to connect it to its clockport. I actually needed a second serial port with a easily programmable serial controller chip for debugging output so the VarIO at 40E was a good deal.

Now i just have to figure out some means of having Poseidon in Zorro option ROM, any suggestions?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but here goes:

Does anyone have any idea how I can enable scroll right and scroll left function of my Logitech G7 ? I can push the scroll wheel right and left. It would be great if for example multiview smoothly scrolled right when I pressed the wheel to right.

Also how do I enable scrolling in reaction guis (for example like the programs inside prefs drawer)

I already have FreeWheel installed and could configure the middle mouse button and the fourth mouse button. (for example fourth mouse button now switches screens)

It's nice to use the clockport for once.

I've got a clockport expander but don't think will be able to fit it in because of the Indivision MKII and Fast ATA, so not sure what to do if I want a Prisma Megamix Sound Card when Available.

Maybe we need some new clockport expanders that are a different shape and maybe some more ide fix express adaptors, or something new smaller than the fast ata.

Looking good

You could ditch the RF Modulator and replace with HDMI output for you Indy, then you'll be able to mount your USB outputs.

Thanks I might just do that now as need to figure out where to put the USB ports.

My Indy was looking fairly tidy at the rear as I cut the expansion bay cover.

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img537/44/Th3aWi.jpg

I've removed that at the moment and got the USB wires loose next to it for the time being.

Just need to find the link for the HDMI output adaptor again now.

Kippers HDMI adapter link bud, I agree with novacoder, get rid of rf and put it there

http://www.kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/

I put my USB ports on the lower right side under keyboard (similar look to where the Mouse ports are on the A600)

Jens,

your website is down and i cant PM you so im posting it here,

#2 arrived, this one appears to be dead. I installed in in my A600 with an A604n via the clockport header. Followed the instructions during install, powered up and white Led came on. no problems.

It worked for about 2 hours, then when i came back to turn the system back on again i noticed the white led will no longer turn on and of course the Rapid Road is no longer detected. Ive checked/double checked/reseated connections.

One thing i did notice is that it ran *really* hot. i don't know exact temps but im concerned something has burned out.

any help/support would be great. If there is a better support method right now please direct me to that

thanks

Whilst USB Zorro III performance is about 6MB/s, does anyone have a clue on what it is on Zorro II?

TIA

No sorry, I have asked in my review (and over at Amibay) if anyone has tested on ZII but no one has replied yet.

I don't have the hardware to test sadly.

Thanks Alexh, glad you liked the Review.

Indeed those external CF adapters are very useful I have one myself. I did mention that you can find 'other forms of removable storage' which this would fall under
