Bloody UK power plugs
How can I build a homemade adaptor for convert 3 flat pin UK plugs to 2 pin round European sockets?
I can't find those adaptors in Spain (who need them here?) and I don't want to pay a lot of shipping costs for a piece of plastic and metal. Is UK in Europe? |

I personally wouldn't mess with that kind of equipment or voltage. Maybe it's not much more complex than wiring a plug, but I wouldn't want to risk frying myself, or worse still, my Amiga

You can buy an adaptor to convert it.
Just go anywhere they sell electircial components, they should have one. If not they will be able to tell you how to do it. |

They sell for less than £5 in the UK (ive only seen them in one shop so prices may vary), but paying for shipping would probably increase the price.
Surely you can find one in an electrical shop? or somewhere that is likely to have Brit tourists would be a good bet. |
