anyone using raspberry pi floppy replacement?

So i am wondering how many people are using a raspberry pi floppy drive replacement? I built one months ago and have been using it in my amiga 500 for about 12 months, it works fine however i found a minor fault now i have started using a a590.

Not sure if anyone else is using one or has encountered this sort of problem, but basically trying to install workbench to the hard drive, with the rpu drive you set the disks up so at the press of the button to do a disk change but all the disks vanish. Its proving a challenge to use the 4-5 disks to install workbench, let alone trying to install the 10+ disks of some ofthe adventure games.

Im gonna try emailingnthe guy who designed the thing too incase he had any thoughts, but id thought I'd see if anyone else had encountered this with this hardware mod.
