If the year must be taken into consideration, then there's no question about it: Elite. But Freelancer is a pretty good game. One of the best released so far this year. Highly playable, though I'll agree it gets a little repetitive after a while. It wasn't as innovative as it could have been if they had implemented everything they were talking about when the game was still early in development, but I'm just happy it was released at all (considering Explorer 2260).

If you're going to add one to the Amiga tally, it's only fair to add X-Beyond The Frontier to the PC side. It's pretty good. Got a good atmosphere to it and more of a developing storyline. Really good music as well by one of the guys from the current Maniacs Of Noise.

I already thought Frontier's planets were too fucking many. That game is as big as th fricken universe! How many MORE can you have? It makes yuo wonderf. There were zillions in a 1MB Amiga, how many can you have on a 512MB PC? |

The only thing I wish to see is FE or FFE to be released with better graphics.
I would spend another 5 years playing it. |

Maybe you've accidentally set it to be delivered 10 years later, like BTTF?
