Saving game on online mode

Hi,
I play Space crusade with my brother in FS-UAE online mode, we tried to save our game , we did it with the savegame disk included in FS-UAE. THe game asked us to format it before, we did it, but when we tried to load it after quiting the save disapeared... Is there any way to save an online game like this ? cause playing that kind of game without save is a bit hard...
Thanks for your answers and sorry for my poor english.

Hi, every time you start a new net play game, you get a random state folder to ensure the game starts with a clean/empty state. This is to ensure that not one player has modified disks (etc) thus causing a desync.

It is possible to override this safeguard though, if you use this command in the game channel before starting the game:

Code:
/set __netplay_state_dir_name RohtgarAndJohnDoesGame
Then the game will save its state in FS-UAE/Save States/RohtgarAndJohnDoesGame instead of creating a random state dir. You will need to run this command every time you wish to resume the game. It is important that you only use the same state dir name with the same players -- or else you need to manually make sure everyone has the exact same content in the state dir.

Have fun
