Why did you sell your Amiga? - Page 4

sold my a500 with extras for cash for a 500+ and that got sold with a load of extras (hdu, ram, genlock etc) for a Mac and cash....sold my a1200 to get bits for another a1200 I had.

The Mac got me a job, the 1200 is currently in storage but I go and stare at it now and then and dream of when i can set it up in my living room again. Its fully pimped out (non tower) and will only be sold for another more shiny 1200

I probably sold it coz I was a stupid little kid, still in school.......
I regret it now though.

Thank goodness for Cloanto. *praises* But its just not the same...

I told the wife about it in 2008 and woke up on Christmas morning to a brand new Amiga technologies A1200 and loads of goodies from amigakit.

Mine is also very comprehensive about my retro hobby

That's why i can push so much things (new, wanted, and/or meant to be done).

@amiga_forever: you can get a Minimig, new Amiga hardware, or a 1200 from Amigakit, or even a new-in-box Amiga 1200 from Petro.
Software emulation is useful for testing, transferring disks, etc-... but you'll feel way better with the real thing
