The same error happened with the ADF. Now I got both. Will test this now, thanks!

[edit]
Love this! But it's insanely hard! Or I am being a massive noob. Hahaha!
Looking forward to the full version!

Pleased to hear you like the demo. It is a simple enough concept, but I find it fiendishly addictive. Final game will have a softer difficulty curve hopefully, and the 2 player Vs mode should be a good deal of fun.

Very hard but very promising. I've played Lost Tapes Of Albion on the Spectrum which is terrific fun (I haven't played the SAM version yet) so I was right at home playing this version. Really look forward to seeing it finished.

how many screens did you manage to pass? Please tell me you got off the first one

Second one is easier than the first I think actually.

spud - I played your game Sunday but didn't have anything to report 'til today. About one third of the board is all I've managed to collect so far. Usually running off the edge and re-appearing on a different level causes me to run into an enemy. Also it's hard to pick up the character right away when you're looking one place and it appears somewhere else. It would be hard to unlearn my habits in a few plays.

Here is a bug I caught while playing on WinUAE.
a500 - stand perfectly still at the start and let enemy hit you. The game either locks up or gurus. Depends on extra RAM and/or Kickstart which it will be.
a1200 - The game kept on going, That doesn't mean it is working right, it just didn't crash.

The sound, controls, graphics look good to me.

Hi Clenched, That's great feedback, many thanks. Suffice to say I thinkt he difficulty level on the demo is too high, that's fine, if you compare with the other games in the series they start off much gentler. The full game will be pitched better. I have half a mind to release a new demo soon with some tweaks to make it abit more accessible.

As for the crashes, I've seen some of those bugs myself, I wasnt sure if it was unique to my own set up or a more generic problem, so it is useful to know you were affected. I need to go through it all with a fine tooth comb to understand and iron out any of the bugs it seems.

Well, I took a month off to finish a Speccy/SAM Coupé project, but I'm back on this now with no other concurrent projects so hopefully will see this through to the end from here.

Lots of presentational bits and bobs have happened, I wrote my own sound effects engine (sounds grander than it is) and also a had a reality check on the difficulty curve ;-)

Lots still do to, but testing seems to reveal the weird bugs present in the previous demo have been ironed out.

Here is current build:

[ Show youtube player ]

Not much difference, and the sound is terribly out of sync in the recording !
