Well I'm in London at the moment but could be for a bit of Kaillera WinUAE action (especially Speedball 2)...
I have an 8Mb broadband connection so speed should be cool. Guess the only real issue is time difference |

Speed is not the concern, its the ping to the server.
Played a few games against some guys in the UK, find the best pings for both us is through a server in canada or sometimes USA. High pings create lag in the game, you have to preempt your next move, its still lots of fun though! I know a few UK'ers who will probably be up for a bit of sb2!! Look here!! Otherwise weekends are probably the best time! (up all night anyways). Grab my email from profile and catch me on msn!! Last edited by mihcael; 03 May 2006 at 12:59. |

greetings Damien, from a hardcore kaillera-uae fan...
Speedball 2 is great online, and i'd happily play you anytime. I'm in Kent so ping-times wont be an issue, there's plenty of good UK servers for a uk<->uk connection. if i might, i'd recommend you download the contents of the torrent on this site: www.djcresswell.com/amigaonline - you'll find a rather reliable Speedball 2 kaillera package (and many many others) in there. PM me your address for msn or something and we'll arrange some games if you like. |

@mihcael & Hungry Horace:
Thanks for the replies guys, I'll definitely take a look into this. Sounds like fun I know that blade002 (who's in Australia) was keen to supposedly "wup my arse" in a game of Speedball 2. Let's hope he reads this also and joins in on the action |
