Sorry about that! As you notice, I have one CD in my physical drive and I used one disk image, which is not on the Workbench.
I've been experimenting with Amiga Forever 2012, and discovered that it's software and not in the config file(s) because I used the built in drive of Workbench 3.X and I'm able to load CD images with no problem. Now if only Mike can tell me what I need software wise to mount CD images because I'm running Workbench 3.9, and I'm able to mount physical CDs but not CD images, unless I use Workbench 3.X! Thank you for all your help, assistance and patients. Dave |

I've had a play around with this and I think this is what you need to do.
Right click on the A4000 entry, scroll down to edit. Click on configuration tab and tick SCSI. Click on media tab and tick CD0 You should now get the CD icon from the start and uaescsi.device will be selected. Last edited by Arnie; 02 March 2012 at 18:12. |

Okay, they all were checked off. I finally figured out what the problem is/was. Under the tool types, have NONOTWAIT . I figured that out by creating a new hardfile with JUST Workbench 3.9 installed on it. I could only mount physical drives, not images. So I used Aminet Set 4, Disc 1, then I looked under Tools / Useful / Amicdrom and installed it just for the heck of it, and now I can mount ISO and .CUE files with no problem. The best part is that that it was in the Amiga Workbench and NOT with Amiga Forever 2012 ! I'm sorry for being such a big pain. I thought it was a software problem, but I couldn't figure out what it was. Now I have a sticky on my Aminet Set 4 CD ROM to remind me.

You don't need to install additional software to have two CD drives. I told you above what is needed to have one CD drive. To add a second drive you just duplicate the CD0 file (as CD1 for example) and change Unit=0 into Unit=1.

In my opinion Deamon Tools is one of the most perfect tools for Windows since there is no mount command.
I don't see. It never crashed here. And it worked with WinUAE perfectly. |
