Daytona USA on Saturn and Dreamcast.
Sega Rally (Saturn) and Sega Rally 2 (Dreamcast). Played Virtua Tennis 2 on Dreamcast, couldnt beat computer on hardest level, on PS2 its not that difficult. I tried Dreamcast Power Stone, I suck so much in 3D beatemups, platformers and Tomb Raider clones, had no chance in this one edit - tried Sydney 2000 (DC), I like this kind of games but this one sucks. Average, boring, just like Int. Track and Field. Best summer olympics/decathlon/track and field games are Athlete Kings for Saturn, Track & Field and Hypersports (MAME) imo. Also been playing Puzzle Quest 2 on the DS. Its not entirely bad for wasting some time in public transportation / in the loo, but it is one of the more repetitive games I've played. All you basically do is battles and they last so friggin' long too, a single match will last on average 15 minutes. In PQ1 there was sometimes the need to switch around some spells / skills to beat an enemy, that is no longer the case here.
Not worth paying full price for, thats for sure :/ |

I FINALLY managed to finish Killzone 2 on the PS3... I got back into last night and found the final battle (Radec) incredibly difficult! Guess i should have played it on easy mode instead, i'm a glutton for punishment

I am currently playing 007 Blood Stone. It's a very generic though fairly enjoyable third person shooter with some cool racing sections.
It's also the last game from Bizarre Creations, developers of Blur, Geometry Wars, Project Gotham Racing and the Psygnosis F1 games for the PS1 (Which IMO still rank as the best F1 oficial games ever).... it also seems the guys who founded Bizarre Creations also made Wiz 'n' Liz and The Killing Game Show, two games I loved on Amiga (Though the 1st one is a Mega-Drive original one) I really think it's a shame activision closed them, I've never played one game from them that I actually considered bad. |

I'm enjoying Duke Nukem Forever. I don't get all the hate for this game. It's not perfect, but it's lots of fun, and the action is nice and meaty and over-the-top. I nearly fell off my chair laughing at some of the one liners.

What I don't get is the constant references to the graphics being shit. From what I've seen so far, it looks quite cool. Perhaps not Crysis, but cool nonetheless.

WIZARDS AND WARRIORS
http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/wizards-warriors an RPG from the year 2000 by DW Bradley. I've had this game since it came out but never got a chance to play it. I've been very impressed with it. Very cool gameplay and huge, atmospheric dungeons. It can be tricky to get working on a modern system with an Nvidia card since it was designed for Windows 95/98. ATI cards work fine. I have Windows XP with an Nvidia 9800GT but I finally got it all sorted out |

There's a NES game with the same name, Wizards & Warriors.
I recently ran through a session of Nitro. 1st place with 74 points. Never get tired of that racing game. Need to try finishing Twinworld one of these days, another awesome game. |

Just finished 007 Blood Stone. Very nice game indeed, if a bit generic.
I will dedicate some time to Eschatos now. |

been playing Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.
Okay, its a console level shooter on rails. But MAN, what an atmosphere! This game does what no game has done in a long time: keep me hooked. I had a hard time to stop playing last night, no I'll just see what this next chapter is about... |

Like I said, I've been playing Eschatos for the last 2 day. It's a shmup for the XBOX 360 released a couple of months ago.
Excellent game. For people who enjoy shoot'em ups and want to play a modern one not made by Cave... I recommend it a lot. You'll have to import it as it was only released on Japan, but the game is region-free, and it's damn awesome. |

I recently played Quake 1 through using the most recent Dark Places engine.
Looks very very good and still plays great. I do miss playing it on a LAN, many a good lunch time spent with this :-) Also just finished playing through Turrican 1. One of my all time favourite Amiga games. |

After removing sand from my Armada 7790DMT http://developer.novell.com/yes/38599.htm display is ok now. I played Duke Nukem 3D (still good), Raptor (aged badly), Jazz Jack Rabbit 2 (very good), Guimo (platformer with strange slowdowns but I like Amiga style music).
