Exclamation computer collection vienna

Hello,

HOMEPAGE
computer collection vienna is a private homepage about my collection. The motto is "experience the computer history" because of the fact that there are exclusive interviews with ex-commodore people, high quality pictures (very good google picture search ranking, too ), exclusive 3d models and a lot of information not available on other pages (e.g. what the VIC21 really was and why Commodore max machine was never released outside Japan, etc.).

I tried to make an Engish version of it, but most sites are German. Because the translation is not that much easy and German site is getting a lot of updates, there are sadly not that much English pages today. Maybe this will change in future, but first there is a big design update on all German pages (English will follow). All German information sites got an design update. But the Update is not completed yet. Menu and the whole appearance of the site will change also some internal chanegs like use of PHP etc. will come in a big future update.

The collection includes most Amiga hardware except Amiga 4000T. The goal is to save computers from being thrown away, repair and give informations back to public with the homepage. It's not an cheap hobby and being only 21 years old, I'm happy to be one of the younger/youngest people to be interested in the old computers.

POSTER
Today there is the first "protoype" of an computer collection vienna POSTER:
http://scacom.bplaced.net/Collection/poster.html
NOTE: --- IMPORTANT---
Because of the fact that logos owned by several companies even today and the fact ccv is an non-commercial homepage, it is NOT possible to buy these posters. I'm no company and I do not have the right for Amiga brand. This is an PRIVATE sef-made poster, so the logos are OK to use, but sadly, they cannot be sold with the above shown motive. Maybe another version is possible, but as said, I cannot sell as I'm no company sadly And remember selling things here in this Forum is really bad, also

ACTIVITIES
Computer Collection is proud to support local meetings and shows with computers from the collection. This Weekend, 29th may, CCV is showing CD32, CDTV and C64 on Commodore Meeting Vienna. Also it's unlikly that someone will visit it, here is the link:

LAST SENTENCE
I hope you like the hours of work given into the homepage and it will constantly be updated and I try to make it better as good as I can. If you have any ideas or feedback feel free to post here. Please note to not post any "bad" thing but a supportive feedback to macke the page better. We all have the same hobby and this is my part of trying that people will not forget about Commodore and Amiga computers. I hope that there will be a nice discussion about the site. Feel free to ask here any question about CCV or the projects you have. You can post feedback on the poster, too. Sad that I cannot give any posters away.

thanks,
gehtjanx

Hello,

computer collection vienna will have new design in few weeks. A prieview is available here:
http://scacom.bplaced.net/Collection...ccvpreview.png

We also have a Faceook page but it's German only

Please note that ENGLISH CCV s moved to a new place/link. Note that translation maybe is not perfect, but there are a lot of informations available. If there is anything wrong, just contact me.

http://scacom.bplaced.net/Collection/indexen.html

ALSO NEW: rarity
Introduction of sales figures and rarity specification for computers and consoles (under table "Specifications"). Ssales figures, current prices and the current offer (the fact of how easy or difficult to get such a device) will be used to get the rarity specification. There are the following categories:

1 star: very common (value up to about 30 Euro)
2 stars: common (value up to about 100 Euro)
3 stars: rare (value between 100 to 300 Euros)
4 stars: very rare (value more than 300 Euros)
5 stars: Rarity/Prototype (very rare and searched item, small batch / Prototype)

Hope you will lke the homepage. It means a lot for me, as I ended all other projects to concentrate on this project.

thanks
