This post above is, IMO, very important to point out. There are so many rotten companies around that it is extremely wonderful to see Amigakit behave in this manner. Rather than rush to get every possible order they wait and attempt to be as accurate as they can. Even if I were to get my product a few days later from them than with another company (I don't think this would happen anyways) I would still rather stick with Amigakit. Anyone can open up shop for pre-orders but it takes class to show a little restraint.

Only Audi has Vorsprung durch Technik And i would buy also at Vesalia when they have the Accelerators two weeks later! I love this shop and as long it exists i would buy my Amiga Hard and Software there! Could we now please stop to discuss wich shop is the better one? I think every Amiga Shop is important, and they all do a fine job! |

I'm not even gonna say which one I chose, but I'm incredibly happy that I've just pushed the 'Confirm order' button
It's so cool that new hardware is being developed for such a nice piece of gear. I cant wait!!! Thumbs up for everyone who's making this possible, both creators as sellers! |

A cool option is to mount a card reader in your vacant floppy slot, that's what I'd do anyway
Yes I'd say that's pretty much guaranteed to happen. Last edited by TCD; 25 November 2010 at 23:27. |

Yes, you can put an HxC there. I'm going to put one externally for my A1200 (the best clear enclosure you've seen) in my A1200, although I've thought to put both internally and booting games from the HxC. What I'm not sure is if you need to put the buttons for it somewhere outside too (I've bought it but still I don't have it).

Perhaps if someone would commit to a volume run the HxC wouldn't cost nearly as much as an accelerator... ?

thx coze.
Looks very nice. But I'll leave this for the moment.. Lets see how far I get by using a network card and SD cards to get the amiga going. But I like the idea though... |

You'll find information on the HxC here :

I'm sure at 99% that it would fit and run with the ACA630 |

I'm trying to figure out the best way to put flash storage in my A600 with the ACA630.
The ACA630 seems to have some holes in the top of it - are these tapped or just drilled? Can they be used to mount anything? I know that 2.5" hard disks are too large for the case to close, but can any CF card adaptors be mounted up there? Failing that, what's the nicest way to place a CF card adaptor inside an ACA630 A600 without just having an adaptor on a cable floating around freely inside the case? Cheers EDIT: Ah, seen Jens' example CF adaptor mounted on top on one of the earlier pages! Sorry for not noticing this earlier. That's exactly what I had in mind, looks like a nice solution. Just need to find one for myself now! Last edited by d0pefish; 29 November 2010 at 11:43. |
