Getting WinFellow to run faster
I've got what seems to be the latest; 0.4.4 Beta 2. Looks like it's dead, BTW.
Anyway, while checking my handy-dandy Task Manager, I find that, at 28 MHz, it peaked at an absolute high of 13% of CPU resources (With an average of 9%). Given that it seems to be reliant on doublings and I have a dual-core, that means I could get it up to 56 MHz while consuming no more than 52% of one core. Except for one small problem...Even if I modify the configuration file, even if it's a legit value, CPU speed sets itself to '2'. Every single time. Any way around this? |
