Turrican - bloody n00b seeks help
Hi there,
I just tried my luck with GfxRip and used Turrican as an example. Made an uncompressed savestate, loaded it, changed the x & y values and this was the result : Looks like the Turrican sprite to me, so yay! Tried the bitplane setting, like this splendid tutorial suggested and came up with : which means that 3 bitplanes isn't that far off (I hope). As you might have noticed I skipped the 'Now, change the Size X&Y, in order to have only one Sprite in ONE box' bit, because when I try that, I just end with a bloody mess on screen again So basically I'm asking anyone who has done it before how I should go from those values (x:16 y:156) to achieve the 'Turrican in one box' result, as I have no idea right now Edit : Thanks to Leffmann I found the answer why I can't get it to 'work' in GfxRip Turrican uses hardware sprites for the main character. Those are 16 pixels wide and have 2 bitplanes. So for the 32 pixel and 15 colour Turrican sprite there are 4 'pictures' for each frame. What exactly is that showing TCD?
I would think the sprites are possibe to rip there probably the same format as T2 that have been ripped best ask Cody, Joe Maroni maybe EXL. |
