Gabriel Knight 1&2, some of the best written games ever IMO.
It Came from the Desert, mostly the world... great atmosphere. Monkey Island 1&2 - great worlds and atmosphere. Space Quest 3&4 - fantastic worlds, creative and atmospheric. And tons of other Sierra and Lucasarts games... and lots of other games by other companies as well... really just too many to list. |

Alien Breed serie (but not 3D games)
Perihelion Dark Seed (giger designs - I love it) Deliverance (but not so good game) B.A.T and B.A.T. II Ishar serie (great game and wonderfull world) Shadow of the Beast serie and probably many more. |
