Met up with frank_b from here last night and agreed to give this beastie a home The one I have is actually LESS yellow than this (I just googled for a pic) It is however untested as neither Frank nor myself have C64 Power supplies.... However the chap Frank rescued it from (he was going to tip it) said that it worked.... soooo. Another project for after I finish the miggy lol. |

Picked up a few cheap Xbox 360 games at my local Blockbuster store:
Enemy Territory Quake Wars Farcry Instincts Predator (i still prefer the original Farcry on PC ) Dead or Alive 4 Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Bullet Witch Not bad for only £3 each... the clearance section is great |

Bought Brutal Legend on Xbox 360 for only £12 at Tesco... It's a surprisingly fun and addictive game!
Also bought a couple more bits for my little A600: Roboshift Mach 2 joystick/mouse adapter - £3 A600 dust cover - £2 Another external floppy drive - £5 (have no idea who manufactured it? but it works great ) |

Got lately a brand new Street Fighter 2 World Warriors jamma board
Just on the technical side, the arcade original has a lot of slowdowns (not related to the game speed). |

I got an Amiga 500, a GVP Series II external 50MB-HD (2MB RAM), Microbotics M501-s Ram & Clock expansion, loads of disks and books including a couple of Eye of the beholder clue books, external disk drive, Quickshot joystick. trackball mouse, and a superb condition 1084S monitor!
All for... nothing... FREE!!!!!!!!! Someone I have just met was giving it all away - it all works but it was all dirty - been stored in a loft... I spent all day yesterday cleaning everything and it has all come up really well, hardly any yellowing - I think the dirt has in a way protected it... pictures will follow... |
