Use native modes. Picasso96 RTG display card software does not support screen dragging. (in emulated or real Amigas)

Screendragging uses the Amiga custom chips to do its magic, it only works on "native" amiga screen modes. It WAS a useful feature 20 years ago when screen resolution was limited. Today, on the high-resolution RTG screens it makes no sense. |

My A1200 AGA can have higher resolution than my netbook. And screen dragging is the second coolest (and entertaining) feature I've ever seen on a computer even today. (first is to be able to play games) |

It wasn't there because screen res was limited and I can't see why couldn't be useful today. Would be great to have games/apps not messing up desktop when opening their own screen and would be great today to see-through what's happenening (if there were multiple concurrent screens of course). Amiga magic. Last edited by hexaae; 20 December 2009 at 18:56. |

Besides our Amiga's are not really that good at iconifying or showing browser windows on WB screen. We need Public Screens for that.

Dragon is little more than a novelty. Cant be ued like "native" screen dragging and the screen will go back to normal (ie. will restore to default position) as soon as you let go of mouse.
