Searching for this intro.

Hi Guys.

Not sure in what section to put this topic.
But i was listening to some old synthesizer music and i came across this song.

[ Show youtube player ]

07 McClusky & Humphries - Electricity (OMD).

Now i remember this song from an Amiga-intro (or cracktro) in the past with exactly the same melody.

Does anybody know the Amiga version of this song? i would like to hear it.

It was used in a Skid Row & Valhalla intro

The intro looks like this one: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=16569

Found it, used in the Shockwave crack (incidentally not 100%).

In the zone, its the Skid row cracktro executable.

Congrats Galahad, This was the same one you pointed to a while back for Akira. I knew I had recognised the 'similar' request

You beat me to it, I was in the process of taking off the cracktro when I discovered you had zoned it.

I much prefer the Skid Row version, I find Andy McCluskeys voice and some of the instrument sounds too weak sounding.

Well the Youtube version sounds bad.

I have the one from "Synthesizer Greatest Hits Volume 1" from Arcade. Which sounds alot better.

Propably you have seen one of those Amgia intros.
http://kestra.exotica.org.uk/demos.p...=250&where=any
All with the song () inside.
The amiga conversion of this tune was made for this release as first.

Ed Starink's (from holland) Synthi-version could be also a lot more advanced.

The tune is done by Ron Klaren, I added a link to that tune and a few others. File also contents the player plugin for Deliplayer (windows) and Eagleplayer (Amiga).

Enjoy
