my amiga 1200
hey guys,
my first post here... it is quite a simple/standard machine: - indivision for vga output - cf card ide adaptor - apollo 1240/40 mhz 32mb ram - desoldered rf-modulator for nice mounted vga port i built this thing mainly for watching demos... perhaps you can name someone i can trust, who can upgrade the apollo 1240 to a 060 for a reasonable price ? would be great ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi nice job on the IndyAGA!
IIRC Dimlow on here did a few Apollo 040 to 060 jobs recently. Also, PG (PerGunnar) a member at amiga.org, upgraded my BPPC 040 to 060. He does Apollos too. |

A 040 is not an ordinary Amiga, in my point of view. But if you want a 060 really bad, ask Dimlow. BTW: excellent looking hack on the Indy! ![]() |

Looks good. nice and clean. hehe.
one day I shall have to post what my 1200 currently looks like, it is a bit of a err "mess" since it has too many goodies in it to actually let me shut the case, and I can't afford a tower, for it ![]() I also got PG to change my ppc 040 to an 060, he even changed the heatsync and added a better fan, as well as fixing something that was BROKEN on it. :O. I Really recommend him. ![]() |
