TEST PLEASE: Academy v1.1 update
Hello guys, I updated Academy with few important things and I want to test it before release and avoid complaining
Check the install, please notice there´s install change - you need to replace OSEmu.80000 with OSEmu.400. Otherwise, new features of this update are: - keyboard handler replaced completely, it should work now - Kickstart v1.2 calls are replaced in much better way now - savegames are saved differently now, throw your old savegames away - yeah, mouse cursor is visible thanks to Tony Wilen advice I expect your suggestions, thanks. Is OSEmu still developed? I thought we were supposed to use kick13 instead now?

OSEmu is not developed anymore, but I use it for games requesting simple OS emulation like these memory allocations, simple DoIOs, dos loading, etc. Version available for Academy is probably 5 years old.

Looks good so far. The mouse cusor is visible and the save game feature works fine. The keyboard is still a bit picky with too fast entries, but works flawless anyway.

Does anyone know the last osemu.400 version released? Or the best one to leave in C on my ClassicWB packs?
I have a v1.47 from the JST final release pack v4.8. (1st June 01) Killer Gorilla has found a v1.7 dated the 23 March 04. Last edited by Bloodwych; 10 December 2008 at 18:40. |

I´m not sure but I think some installs work with certain versions only, so it´s good to use OSEmu included in WHDload install.
