Hello from h0ffman

Hi all

My name is h0ffman, just been reliving my old Amiga days of late with WinUAE and thought i'd come say hello. If any of you followed the demo scene you may know me as Hydlite or Dreamfish, used to be in a few demos crews such as Quartz, Flashing Bytes, TRSI, Defekt to name a few. My music legacy is pretty well documented on AMP.

Just having a play with Action Replay and for the life of me cant remember any of the dam commands?! I read somewhere on here that the manual is in "The Zone", however I can't access it, any ideas on what I need to do?

See here for details on accessing The Zone! How do I get access to the zone?

Files only stay there for 7 days though so I've re-uploaded the Action Reply III manual for you

Oh yeah man, that was when I first got into tracking. A tad dated to be honest. Depending on what your into, some of the better stuff was released on www.mono211.com

Dam this is a belated reply.. hope you get it..

Current projects www.unstablelabel.co.uk, co-managing the record label and a producer / dj in my own right.

inspirations are a plenty, martin galway, rob hubbard, jarre, jeff mills, dave clarke, aphex twin, breakfastaz, autobots.. to name a very small cross section.

tracking on a pc, i'm sure its great and would love to have a go, but i write everything with cubase these days

i think my all time fave must be static from rebels, pink from abyss too, his chip tunes / c64 conversions were awesome.

question, whats the state of the scene at the moment? I'm thinking of writting a couple of tunes for demos, just to branch out / get back to my roots so to speak.

Didn't they tell you? The Scene is dead since 1911. (Sorry, I just couldn't resist :P). On a serious note, Amiga demoscene is small but stable and probably will stay like that for the next years to come.

Hello Ian, still residing in nowheresville (Salisbury!)

If you feel up to writing a few chiptunes in protracker, would be nice to use one for a few re-release cracktros.

I used one of yours in the Fairlight release for Turbo Trax if memory serves me right..... but it was soooo long ago now!
