transwrite & final copy 2
I've found some old college disks and have successfully loaded them on to my A1200's HD but I don't have Final Copy 2 anymore and the transwrite files I copied over were all encrypted by me using transwrite's own password protect feature (I assume!) so I can't view these files on my PC. Does anyone know if there are convertors and/or decrypters I can use for this or do I have to use Final Copy 2 and Transwrite to save the files into a more universal format? If this latter is the case can anyone Zone these applications for me please?

HIT, you beauty! Your links worked great. In case anyone else needs them, here they are:
[Link deleted - Graham] http://amispec.w.interia.pl/tw.lha Moderators - I could not see anywhere in the do's and dont's that this was not permissable. VERY sorry if I'm wrong. Please feel free to delete the links if you need to. Last edited by Graham Humphrey; 13 August 2008 at 00:14. |

Hi vroom6sri,
there are Workbench disks on the site in the first link, so this link is not allowed But you could upload the file to the zone or host it yourself and post the link here |

Thanks guys. I know it's a lame reason (not an excuse but a reason) but I am so short of time I just saw what I wanted and ignored everything else.
I've kept the .lha file so will stick in the Zone ASAP or, if anyone wants it from me, drop me a PM. Be cool. Be funky. |

Hi vroom6sri,
when you upload the file to the zone, I will put it on my webspace and post the link here. Is that a deal? |

DEAL! Will try to do it tonight (at work at the mo) but I desperately need to finish chaning the pads & disks on my car tonight too.
And I've gotta say thanks to the person who made it all possible... THANK YOU, HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd forgotten what a natty little program TransWrite was especially considering the version I had was a cover disk freebie. I used it for all my college work (along with Final Copy). Only had a dot matrix printer then. It took ages to print anything from FC. I'm excited about reading some of my old essays and coursework. |

It's too bad Softwood tried to do a Windows version of Final Writer then disappeared from the face of the earth. They were a great company. They also bought the source code to ProWrite so that died with them.
