The red thingies are not buttons but LEDs. I'll ask if he can provide shots of the internals. I personally love the attention to detail. Everything fits so well. I wonder if you actually can see anything on that screen

looks pretty useless. cool but useless! surely that screen is far too small! would it be better to hook up a psx/dc monitor screen at the back of the a600? i seen that done before.

I can see alot of hard work has been done there but i wouldent do this kind of thing .. That Lcd would be cool if it was used for other stuff than native display such as a monitoring app sound volume free chip ram etc " software\hardware programming needed ". But as a display it is more or less useless ...

its the small screen for me. totally pointless! and far too small to be anything remotely useful. it is amazing how the project is done tho and the quality. replace the lcd screen with the back dc/psx screen and maybe do away with them buttons and then we're talking.
