CDTV/PSYGNOSIS Demo disk

I finally have an image of it.. works great in cd32 mode but not in cdtv mode.. I know that cdtv emulation is incomplete, i just found it curious that the cd32 emulation coped better. Did i miss somthing?

Planetside rocks, it's so nostalgic . Spent the whole summer gawking at that demo and playing super mario world import at the local mall

The thing is that today that demo could be done in real time, not just prerendered. Not that it would play good, but the idea of finally playing the game would be.. well funobsessive?

The demo consists of most of Psygnosis's early pre-rendered game intros, also some that they never used (i think) and footage from the aborted CDTV version of Microcosm. All very nostalgic

I suppose i could share, it's a 19meg RAR file, will that go up onto THE ZONE or is it to big?

6 megabytes is max, but you can split archive with ARJ or WinRAR.

I have this as well (for CDTV and FM Towns)...

If you like I'll upload the CDTV version to a file sharing network?

FM towns version! I googled it but didn't really find anything about it..

So how is it, the same or did it use the 256 colors for animation?

Hello spiff,

Unfortunately it's extremely hard to find any information about FM Towns / FM Marty applications, demos or games

Try it for yourself if you like though

... [FM-TOWNS] The Fractal Engine (CCD).rar

You will need the FM Towns / FM Marty emulator; Unz and the BIOS files

There was stupid bug, formula used to calculate CD transfer time overflowed if transfer was long enough and transfer never finished.. (btw, fix is already in "blur" version )

Wow, that was like looking at the directors Cut, this version actually makes some sense!

FM towns must have been to the amiga what the Neo-geo was to the megadrive.. I'm grabbing all they've got on pleasure dome

Oh, and lookie, 25% scanlines

*edit* Thanks btw
